The original painting was happily undertaken as a commission for Jack and Christina West. They asked for an abstract painting inspired by one I did in 2015. In 2021, I've been diagnosed with a concussive brain, using my vision often makes me dizzy.
This painting was exciting to do. It was the first one I painted without too many symptoms in one year and I love it.
I am grateful to my body for ushering me in this direction. I am already painting more abstracts...I do it in short
spurts over a period of time, relying on my body and eyes to direct. I rest often.
